The Danielson Framework provides an overview of different practices that an educator should have/use in and out of the classroom. The framework provides a "common language for instructional practice as well as a philosophical approach to understanding and promoting great teaching and learning" (The Danielson Group). As an educator, the framework is extremely beneficial because it reminds us that great teachers do not just focus on their work in the classroom. They also carefully plan and prepare for each lesson, think about how to best manage the classroom, use many different instructional methods (to reach ALL learners!), and are life-long learners.
